Entry-level Project Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

The candidate may participate in Building Enclosure System engineering work and project management tasks, including but not limited to the following:

• Assist in analyzing architectural drawings, specifications and related technical documents to determine Building Enclosure design requirements;

• Assist the design engineer to prepare shop drawings and submittals;

• Perform basic structural analysis and design of Building Enclosure systems, specialized in curtain walls, windows, and storefront systems;

• Collaborate with contractors, material suppliers, superintendent, and installers on project scheduling;

• Attend project progressive meetings and manage project progress;

• Prepare periodical project reports and report to project executive;

• Prepare project close-out documents.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or Civil Engineering;

• Work experience in a similar position preferred

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and related programs

• Excellent communication skills in both writing and verbal

• Excellent teamwork ability

• Interested in innovative design, specifically in sustainable, and high performing buildings

• Candidates pursuing professional licensing are encouraged to apply

• Authorized working status in the U.S. is required
